Wow...What a busy few days. I am so ready for tomorrow to be over! I start training tomorrow at Hy-Vee and honestly it couldn't come at a worse time. I am absolutely swamped at school and a little bit overwhelmed. I'm learning to write really good lesson plans in my classes but it is so time consuming. We have to type out absolutely every word we would say to our students. My professor says that the key to being successful in your first years of teaching it is essential to be a great lesson planner. So, if thats what I have to do I will write write write. I have to admit it is kind of fun imaging my classroom and standing in front of my class of little kiddos. It's a lot harder to stand in front of your peers and have to act like your talking to a bunch of 6 year olds. Its the best kind of practice though!
It will be nice to have Friday and Monday off! I just want next week to be over and I might be able to breathe for awhile! But I know that I can't rush everything. I know that I will get it done even if it requires a few really late nights. Well I'm off to study for my communications exam and to write my essay due on tuesday about Karl Marx. Wish me nothing but luck. I'll need it at work tomorrow!
