((Perseverance))

Have you ever had that symbol in your life that just seems to be telling you something? These past few months have been filled with emotional ups and downs; the loss of a grandpa, having to put down our family dog, sick family members, stress with school...you get the point. Don't get me wrong, I have had a lot of good memories the past few months too but ANYWAY. Well, my roommate picked daffodils last tuesday in order to cheer our room up a little bit. They were so cute the first 2 or so days and they definitely made our room feel a little bit more sunny. But as flowers do...most of them died within the week but I was shocked when I came back on sunday and 1 little flower was still living. Not only was it still living, it was still absolutely beautiful. Well here we are a week later and yes, it is still thriving.

I couldn't think of a better reason to get up and be in a little bit better mood than usual. Can you think of a better symbol of perseverance? P.S. I thought the new blog design was good start for summer What do you think?
