Liebster Award

Have you ever heard of it? Neither had I!
I've connected with Jamie a few times through blogging and she was recently nominated for the Liebster award and she passed it on and nominated a few more people. Including me! How nice of her right??

Now it may help to define what the Liebster award is...
"The Liebster award is given to upcoming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. The meaning: Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing and welcome."- Adrian

As with anything in the blogger world, there are rules.

I think this is actually a great way to have your readers get to know you, as well as other bloggers too. I am one of those people that always goes right to the "about me" page when I find a new blog. Knowing about each blogger is part of the fun in blogging.

Here are the questions that Jamie posted for her nominees.

What is your biggest irrational fear? Being chased up the stairs! I always run quickly and look back while going up the stairs. I hate the feeling of being chased, especially up the stairs!

What food can't you live without? Avocado's. They are so good tasting and so healthy too! I sometimes mash them up and smear them on a sandwich instead of using mayonnaise.

If you could choose anywhere in the world to live, where would you? This is a hard one. I love New York City but I love warm tropical weather too. I can't decide.

If you could live in any novel or movie, which one would you want to live in and why?
50 Shades of Grey.....Just kidding. Hehe :) I love the Devil Wears Prada. The fashion industry is such a fascinating industry and I love that movie.

If you could go back in time, when would you go? Either the 20's during prohibition and the flappers, or the 50's.

When you were a kid, did your "monsters" hide in your closet or under your bed? I never thought of monsters as a kid. Only being chased up the stairs.

What is a talent you have always wanted? Running. I hate running. I don't get that "runners high" that most successful runners achieve. After 15 minutes I'm toast.

What hobby would you most like to master? I guess I kind of answered that above. Singing would be cool too.

What is your favorite restaurant? We have a great local Italian restaurant, Paisans. I love sushi too.

What do you put on your sandwich? I was a vegetarian for 4 years during high school but I have recently started eating meat again. I love salami, lettuce, avocado, and provolone cheese.

If you could choose one reality/game show to go on, which would you choose?
Match Game. I love the old games shows. The Newlywed game is pretty hilarious too.
